This weeder is part of the Piginor line from Red Pig Garden Tools, a family-owned company based in Oregon since 1989. Each tool is forged under heat, hammered and shaped largely by hand at the anvil, then sharpened and finished with a clear enamel coating. The blade is sharpened on both sides, allowing it to slice cleanly through weeds just below the soil surface, functioning like a small scuffle hoe. The handle is turned from American hickory in the southeastern United States for strength and comfort.
