The Hori Hori Pro is handmade for Niwaki by third-generation family craftsmen in Miki, Hyogo—one of Japan’s historic centers of horticultural blacksmithing. Forged from SK-5 carbon steel, the blade delivers an excellent balance of sharpness, toughness, and edge retention, making it well suited for demanding garden work. The subtly contoured beechwood handle is shaped for comfort during extended use, while the included canvas sheath keeps the blade protected and within easy reach.
